All our butterflies hatched and were ready to be released into their natural habitat. We were so excited to release them into our very own Thomas butterfly garden!
We have been learning about life cycles in Science class. We have been observing the life cycle of the painted lady butterfly in our very own classroom! We are so excited today because two of our butterflies hatched out of their chrysalis! When the rest of them hatch we will release them into the butterfly garden!
Miss Morales popped some popcorn in class today so the kids could use adjectives to describe how it sounds, smells, looks, feels, and tastes. The class had a great time writing all of their adjectives....oh, and eating the popcorn was great too! Thanks Miss Morales!
The class is learning about solid shapes this week. Miss Morales had the class create a solid shape using marshmallows and tooth picks! They had a great time!
Before spring break, we were doing an author's study on Cynthia Rylant. We loved a lot of her books! We discussed similarities and differences in her books, made connections, and talked about our reflections for each book.
This week we are learning about another author, Patricia Polacco. View her website below to learn more about the author, her books, and get some free downloads and games!
