Abbreviations

This week we have been working on reading and writing abbreviations. We made a study guide book to help us out. The kids used the book to quiz a partner...that was a big hit!





We also played abbreviation tic-tac-toe!












In writing we started working on non-fiction stories. This week they wrote a how-to story. They all did great! Ask your child what they wrote about!

Reading Restaurant!

Thank you so much to all of you that attended our Reading Restaurant!  We had a great time serving some awesome books.  I hope you enjoyed the night and your kids are excited about the books they chose!  I discovered that I'm not cut out to be a waitress...so I'm going to stick to teaching! :)
