Amazing Writers!

We have some amazing writing going on in our classroom. We are working on writing about small moments in our lives. The students are learning how to put their thoughts in order and write them like a book. They all did awesome with this! They also shared their writing with a partner and they helped eachother organize their story.

Conferences

Please remember that Tuesday and Wednesday Oct. 26th and 27th are early release days. Students will be released at 11:30. I am looking forward to talking to everyone at conferences. This will be a time to discuss report cards and any concerns we might have. If you are unsure of the day and time of your scheduled conference, please click the link for the wiki to view your time. Thank you so much for all your support!

Thinking About our Reading

We had fun today thinking about our reading! The kids are all doing a great job sharing their connections, schema, and mental images about the stories we read. (Ask them about this at home!) Here are a few pictures of us using our thought bubble to tell about our thinking! The kids LOVED this!
